Kristaps Porzingis isn’t prepared to dedicate to Friday’s final preseason diversion but the Knicks’ third-year forward, recuperating from a bruise right hip, is assured that he’ll be prepared for next week’s deteriorate opener in Oklahoma City.
“I wish to play the last diversion and be prepared for the season,” Porzingis said. “I’m like a lizard. we redeem quickly.”
Porzingis sat out Wednesday’s use after blank Monday’s home muster detriment to the Houston Rockets. He insists that doctors have told him the damage isn’t critical and Porzingis believes he has adequate time to redeem before he matches up with his former teammate, Carmelo Anthony.
Wednesday also noted the first time Porzingis addressed a stupid debate that began with MSG Network researcher Alan Hahn held on a prohibited mic criticizing Porzingis for being a minus-20 in the first half of Sunday’s detriment at Brooklyn.
Porzingis pronounced it wasn’t “a big deal” since “no one even tagged me or mentioned me on Twitter about this.”
“I’m not too worried about that, honestly,’’ Porzingis said. “We had a terrible first half. I’m not worried about my game. We have to play better as a team.’’
