To an extent, you have to admire the shamelessness of it.

While the rest of us were debating either or not to abandon the old trees on the pavement, this lady just took hers back to the shop for a refund.

Because it was ‘dead’ – on Jan 4.

Amazingly, she actually did get her income back.

The unimpressed shopper behind her took a photo of her with the vast (and yes, dead) tree next to her in the reserve at Costco.

‘I can’t make this things up,’ he posted. ‘Woman in line at Costco, totally nonchalant, to return her Christmas tree ‘because it is dead’ on Jan 4.

‘Heartbreaking to consider she may have indispensable that income so much, she lost alls elfin honour and grace for it.

‘She didn’t seem to mind that we took a photo and pronounced ‘Are you serious?!?’

The lady has not been identified.

But her proceed is something to keep in mind for next year, eh?
