President Trump’s administration expelled its first budget on Thursday, and it includes proposals to condense sovereign funding.
The bill proposes to cut off appropriation to 19 sovereign agencies — amounting to about $3 billion — including the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Corporation for National and Community Service, which administers the AmeriCorps program.
The due bill deals with discretionary spending and must pass by the Republican-controlled Congress before it can be enacted.
