  • Roy Moore, the Republican Senate claimant who lost the
Alabama special election to a Democrat on Tuesday, has not yet
    conceded.
  • Moore expelled a video matter on Wednesday night
observant he would wait for Alabama’s secretary of state to
    plead the results.

Roy Moore expelled a YouTube video on Wednesday night refusing to
concur the Senate special election
he lost to his Democratic rival, Doug Jones, in Alabama one
day earlier.

In the video,
Moore insisted that the “the battle rages on,” indicating to
military ballots, among others, that had nonetheless to be counted before
Alabama’s secretary of state, John Merrill, would officially
plead the results.

“In this race, we have not perceived the final count to include
military and provisional ballots,” Moore pronounced Wednesday night.
“This has been a very close race, and we are awaiting
acceptance by the secretary of state.”

Twenty-fours earlier, Moore floated the probability of a recount,
but Merrill seemed to chuck cold water on that, observant a recount
was doubtful to change the outcome of the race, which finished with
a 1.5-percentage-point domain between Moore and Jones, with 100%
of precincts reporting. At last count,
Jones had warranted 20,715 some-more votes than Moore.

“This sold race was watched not only by the people of this
state but by the whole republic and many around the world,” Moore
said, adding that he believed the “heart and essence of the country
is at stake.”

Moore went on to recite some of the pivotal platforms of his
campaign, and he quoted heavily from Bible scripture. He did not
categorically contend whether, or when, he would concede. Jones pronounced in
a news discussion progressing Wednesday that he had not perceived the
normal congratulatory phone call from Moore after Jones was
projected the winner.
