Legislation commanding despotic financial sanctions on Russia will get President Trump’s approval, the White House pronounced Friday.
The sanctions are meant to retaliate Russia for nosiness in the 2016 presidential election and its military charge in Ukraine and Syria.
In response, Moscow cut the series of U.S. diplomats in Russia and sealed the U.S. Embassy’s distraction retreat.
Lawmakers were uncertain if Trump would back the check given his calls for warmer family with Russia and an ongoing review into either his campaign colluded with the Kremlin to change the election.
The check also bars Trump from easing or waiving the additional penalties on Russia unless Congress agrees. Also enclosed in the legislation are financial sanctions against Iran and North Korea.
