Pentagon retweets post job for President Trump’s resignation

The Pentagon’s central Twitter comment retweeted a post Thursday job on President Trump to renounce from office.

The twitter posted by user @ProudResister on Thursday read: “The solution is simple… Roy Moore: Step down from the race. Al Franken: Resign from Congress.

“Donald Trump: Resign from the presidency. GOP: Stop making passionate attack a narrow-minded issue. It’s a crime as is your hypocrisy,” the post concluded.

The U.S. Department of Defense’s comment retweeted the post before fast deletion it. The comment has some-more than 5 million followers.

Pentagon mouthpiece Dana White addressed the issue around Twitter.

“An certified user of the @DeptofDefense’s central Twitter site erroneously retweeted calm that would not be permitted by the Department of Defense,” she wrote. “The user held this blunder and immediately deleted it.”
