Jared Kushner perceived and forwarded emails per WikiLeaks during the presidential campaign — but has unsuccessful to palm them over when asked by the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to a report Thursday.
President Trump’s son-in-law and confidant never constructed the 2016 missives about the scandalous website and “Russian backdoor proposition and cooking invite” despite requests from lawmakers, according to a minute sent to Kushner’s lawyers by cabinet management Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.).
Politico first reported on the letter.
“Other parties have constructed Sep 2016 email communications to Mr. Kushner concerning Wikileaks, which Mr. Kushner then forwarded to another campaign official,” the span wrote. “Such papers should have been constructed … but were not.”
