The Cheshire Cheese Company, the cheese-makers behind the gin flavoured cheese, has launched some Strawberries, Cream and Champagne cheese just in time for Valentine’s Day.
And of course, it’s pinkish and comes in the figure of a heart.
According to the company, the cheese was desirous by tales of Cheshire Cheese and Strawberry Jam sandwiches, which were ‘a very renouned children’s lunchtime provide pre-1960’.
The product outline reads: ‘Think Strawberry Cheesecake and you are in the section to enjoy this extraordinary special book cheese. You can smell and ambience the strawberry jam in the cheese and the pointed champagne note.
‘Try it with Oatcake biscuits and a fresh strawberry cut it’s very moorish! This is a very creamy, soothing textured mouth feel and honeyed cheese.’
While it sounds good – even if a little bizarre, the cheese isn’t actually new. It was first expelled back in 2011 where it one the World Cheese Awards bronze medal.
But it’s back just in time for the romance-filled day.
Though according to The Cheshire Cheese Company, it’s ideal for some-more than just 14 February.
The company states: ‘The ideal present for Valentines, Mothers Day or a Birthday or simply to contend you adore someone! Vegetarian Society Approved.’
If strawberry champagne cheese is for you, it’s now being sole for £4.75 for a whole heart-shape wedge.
