Burger King trolls McDonald’s during German ‘It’ screening

Pennywise was outshined by The King in a German screening of “It.”

The quick food sequence Burger King grabbed ahold of the year’s biggest horror film, “It,” in sequence to goblin its dining rival, McDonald’s.

At the finish of a special pre-premiere screening of the film in Germany on Sept. 27, audiences were greeted to a bizarre content burble just as the torment began to deescalate. It read, “The dignified is: never trust a clown.”

Then, an already fearful throng was shown the Burger King logo.

A YouTube video from the screening adds that “It” was incited into Burger King’s longest announcement ever.

The extraordinary YouTube video also starts with a German spectator saying, “In a horror film, you design anything. But zero like this.”

It then segues into greeting shots from the throng with the words, “Loving ‘It.’”

Interspersed in the suspenseful clip, B.K. writes, “While the jester widespread fear and terror…we hijacked the horror film of the year.”

The video closes with a B.K. ad ornate with a “#NeverTrustAClown” hashtag.
