Karen Clifton has subtly certified that she doesn’t wish a Strictly Come Dancing partner like Will Young this year.
Rumour Mill: the round-up of football gossip, rumours and speculation
Okay she may not have used those accurate words, but she really knows what she wants in a luminary partner and it can’t be someone that doesn’t really wish to be there.
Last year saw Karen joined up with Leave Right Now thespian Will, who quit the show 3 weeks into the last series despite the span getting off to a clever start, leaving his partner and associate contestants shocked.
Now a year later, the Strictly veteran dancer is prepared to take on the dancefloor with a partner that’s actually going to ‘enjoy the journey.’
Speaking to Daily Star on Sunday, she said: ‘Whenever you’re on the show you’re anticipating you’ll get someone who wants to be there.
‘Strictly is so desired and you wish someone who is penetrating to learn and is prepared for a new adventure.’
Describing Will’s startle exit off the show as a ‘difficult time,’ she added: ‘This series I’m just anticipating for a partner that’s fun and wants a good time and who will enjoy the tour – and be there.
‘I’m looking brazen to this year. I’d adore to do as good as my partner wants to do. You always wish to make certain your partner goes as distant as they can. That’s what is important.’
So distant 7 names have been reliable for the 15th series of the dancing show including Simon Rimmer, Joe McFadden, Rev Richard Coles, Gemma Atkinson, Loose Women presenter Ruth Langsford, The Saturdays star Mollie King and Davood Ghadami.
It’s been widely reported that JLS star Aston Merrygold will be joining the choice too, but this has nonetheless to be confirmed.
