It seems that new judges and new pro dancers aren’t the only change coming to Strictly this year, as luminary competitor Mollie King has revealed.
Because, according to the Saturdays star, this year the celebrities are getting the possibility to dance with a few some-more of the professionals than before, trying out their stairs with several opposite pro partners before being matched up with their dance partner on the show.
Speaking to metro.co.uk, Mollie described it as ‘speed dancing’ – observant that it had given her the possibility to try and figure out whom she competence be partnered with on next Saturday’s series opener.
‘It’s tough since at the moment I’m trying to be a investigator and work out who we consider it could be formed on they have to be utterly identical height, and I’m utterly brief so there’s really only a couple we could have,’ she explained.
‘We did this thing called speed dancing, a bit like speed dating, where you pierce around so you dance with any of them for a couple of seconds and you could kind of figure out from that.
‘She went on: ‘Some of them were way too high for me. we was literally like we were never going to get partnered up.
‘So substantially 3 or 4 I’m meditative I’d get one of them. we just wish someone fun. It’s such an knowledge and we’ll only ever get to do it once. we need someone who can giggle at me since God knows they’re going to giggle at me.’
Despite her reservations, Mollie – who’s just expelled her new singular Hair Down – is positively a favourite with the bookies, who now have her as 9-2 second favourite behind Aston Merrygold – who’s 11-4 to lift the 2017 Glitterball Trophy.
Strictly Come Dancing kicks off on BBC One on Saturday Sep 9 at 7pm.
