ITV’s This Morning reminded a nation how Elvis Presley’s legacy endures on the 40th anniversary of his death, and it seems to be living inside Eamonn Holmes.
The 57-year-old presenter appeared on the daytime show alongside wife Ruth Langsford, where they decided to commemorate Elvis Presley’s anniversary by rattling through what the ‘King Of Rock And Roll’ meant to them.
Asked by Ruth what his favourite Elvis song is, Eamonn said: ‘Burning Love is up there, but I think his rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Water is beautiful.’

Ruth, however, decided to trigger Eamonn’s lungs and hips, who burst into song after she stated Always On My Mind was her personal favourite.
The all-singing floodgates have opened. Ruth, what have you done?
If you aren’t entirely sure how Elvis is meant to sound like, you can check out a snazzy version of the track with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Other Elvis fans however have gathered for a candlelight vigil at Graceland, where they paid tribute to the musical icon at the Memphis mansion.
You can catch This Morning weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.
