Star of It and Stranger Things Finn Wolfhard has split ways with his agent Tyler Grasham after a former client purported passionate abuse.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that 14-year-old Finn has left APA group and his agent after actor-turned-filmmaker Blaise Godbe Lipman named Grasham in a Facebook standing that accused him of passionate assault.
‘Yesterday we posted my “me too” contribution, quickly pity my knowledge with passionate attack at the hands of a man in a position of energy in the party industry,’ Blaise said. ‘I didn’t name names, just the company he worked for.
‘People poured out of the woodwork in private message, wakeful of who we must be articulate about. His repute was enough, we didn’t have to contend his name.’
But, Blaise said, after he posted the status, Tyler then used Facebook to ‘poke’ him: ‘He must have been done wakeful of the post by one of the many mutuals.
‘Was his poke pacifist agressive? An abuser making himself known, a still threat? An acknowledgment of shame with a smirky, “just try me”? we don’t know and we don’t care. It felt gross.’
So, in light of the Weinstein scandal, Blaise motionless to make it famous accurately who he was accusing.
‘His name is Tyler Grasham, an agent at APA Agency,’ he said. ‘Tyler Grasham, under the disguise of a business assembly per intensity group illustration at APA Agency, fed me ethanol while we was underage and sexually assaulted me.
‘APA Agency has kept this man employed, operative with child actors.’
Blaise also claimed that Tyler would have his friends ‘drunkenly call and berate’ the actor: ‘I didn’t do anything at the time. we was immature and desperately wanted acceptance within my industry.’
He combined that the whole purpose of his post and fixing Grasham was to help impact change in the attention and hopefully see his purported assailant face justice. Since posting his knowledge with Grasham, The Hollywood Reporter says that other men had come brazen with identical claims against the agent.
APA pronounced in a matter to the publication: ‘APA takes these allegations intensely seriously and is questioning this matter.’
As for Finn, he is nonetheless to endorse a signing with any new agency, but sources told THR that ‘CAA, WME, UTA and Paradigm are posterior the immature actor’ after the news of his APA depart spreads.
