The 21-year-old thespian has been named BBC Music’s Sound Of 2018 after beating out 15 other artists on the longlist.
Considering past winners of BBC Music’s Sound Of… embody Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Years Years and somebody called Adele, we reckon Sigrid must be flattering chuffed.
The Norwegian singer, who gained courtesy with her hit Don’t Kill My Vibe, said: ‘It’s a lot to take in to have won something as prestigious as BBC Music Sound Of. we feel celebrated as there are so many other artists we demeanour up to who have won this before me, and honestly, I’m just really happy and unapproachable of what my organisation and we have achieved together.
