Gemma Collins says she could have died when she fell into a hole on theatre during the Radio 1 Teen Awards.
The reality TV star stole the headlines for all the wrong reasons when she announced Love Island as the leader of Best TV Show at the annual awards as a trap doorway non-stop to bring the winners up on stage.
Gemma didn’t see this, however, and went toppling true into the hole. And it was all held on camera.

But reflecting on her epic fail, which she says has left her in ‘agony’, the Towie star admits she could have been a goner
‘I must contend I’m in a bit of startle still. But we have found the whole knowledge positively hilarious. However, we am in a bit of pain this morning, I’m not going to lie.
‘The earnest of it is that it could have been really deadly because, what people don’t see, is that under there there’s all this machine going on,’ the 36-year-old told hosts Ben Shephard and Amanda Holden on This Morning.
‘It was my left side. I’ve got a bit of a plunder going on, so appreciate God for that. I’ve got a bit of a hash on my left bum impertinence – but other than that, I’m rocking and rolling,’ she added.
‘Yes I’m in a bit of pain, but it was the best moment of my life. It was one of those moments we don’t consider we am every going to live down.’
When she fell, some of the Love Island stars had been making their way up to the theatre to collect their drum and immediately ducked down to help her up.
Apologising for ‘wiping them out’, Gemma pronounced that they were checked over my paramedics but were unhurt.
However, Gemma also hinted that she’d been silenced over deliberating either or not she had been briefed on the mechanics of the trap doorway on stage.
When asked on This Morning if she was wakeful the theatre would be moving, she admitted: ‘I’m not allowed to plead that at the minute.’
Metro.co.uk understands that Gemma did have a dress operation for her presenting mark the day before and was wakeful that a trap doorway would be used on stage.
Radio 1 staff checked Gemma was fine true after her fall, and a orator told Metro.co.uk: ‘We’re blissful Gemma is fine and she is a correct trooper.’

After Gemma done it back on stage, with the help of Love Island’s Jamie Jewitt, Amber Davies, and Marcel Somerville, she apologised and said: ‘Oh my God, we am so contemptible about that. This is live, this is what happens.’
‘Apart from just stacking it on theatre I’m having the best time of my life,’ she after told the show hosts Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.
‘I’m kind of okay, the throng have been amazing.’
She perceived copiousness of support from associate celebs online, with Rita Ora posting a video job Gemma a ‘legend’.
