Games Inbox: Nintendo Direct reaction, Super Smash Bros. recover date, and Resident Evil 2 remake

This whole business with Disney shopping 20th Century Fox is flattering crazy when you consider about it, but I’ve been wondering recently what impact it could have on games. Obviously it’ll meant things like Marvel Vs. Capcom won’t be singular in their impression choices anymore, but could this actually pull Disney into giving a damn about console games.

I mean, not only will they control Marvel and Star Wars, but also Aliens, Predator, Terminator, Die Hard, Avatar, Independence Day, Planet of the Apes, and, err… Alvin and the Chipmunks (I’m going by Wikipedia as we make this list).

I mean, that is a lot of major properties, almost all of which have had a outrageous change on games over the year. Surely this is the time to create a major new games company and get to work giving these cinema some decent games. Plus, it’d take Star Wars out of the hands of EA.
